Server Time

Overview

Poliwager Adoptables uses the US Central Standard Time (CST, UTC-6) time zone for its Server Time. Poliwager's Server Time is used for many website functions, such as when Eggs are created or what constitutes Day or Night for evolving Pokémon. The month of the year is also what determines Seasons.

Site Functions Based on Server Time

• Site Stats are updated every 15 minutes starting on the hour.
• Eggs are created every 15 minutes as needed.
• Every hour, at XX:24, Pokémon that are in their owner's Pokéwalker are given one step and Exp. is earned.
• Berries grow twice a day at 11:36 AM and 11:36 PM if they are watered.
• Pokémon visiting Pokémon Camps will return at 12:03 AM, 8:03 AM, and 4:03 PM.
• Pokémon that can evolve in the daytime evolve between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, whereas Pokémon that can evolve in the night evolve between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
• The Lottery Corner begins a new lottery every Monday at 12:05 AM.
• Money Monday occurs every Monday, and Poké Dollar gains are doubled.
• Bug Catching Contests start every Tuesday at 12:00 AM and end on the following Saturday at 11:45 PM.
• A few Pokémon in users' Parties will randomly be infected with Pokérus on Wednesdays after 3:00 AM.
• The Game Corner Battle Hideout holds battles every night at 11:55 PM.
• Happiness Friday occurs every Friday, and Happiness gains from interactions are doubled.
• At midnight, Poliwrath will send out Daily Challenge Prizes for those who reached at least 100 Interactions or Views during the day.
• At midnight, user interaction stats will be updated.
• At midnight, Medals will be given to Pokémon for their achievements in interactions, views, camping, and battles.
• At midnight at the end of the month, Medals will be given to the top 3 Pokémon adopted that month for interactions and views.
