Bug Catching Contest
The Bug Catching Contest is where you hatch a new Bug Type Pokémon that qualifies for the contest. They start on every second Tuesday at 12:00 AM and end on the following second Saturday at 11:45 PM. Once you have a Bug Type Pokémon that qualities, it will be noted on your page and you will receive a prize when it ends. When the contest ends, all Pokémon that you own that qualifies for the contest will receive a Medal based on the rank of the contest.
Rank Rewards[edit | edit source]
Prizes rewarded are based on the rank of the contest which is determined by the contest difficulty. The harder it is to enter, the better the reward. The reward you get is random based on the Rank's reward pool. Any Pokémon rewarded will be sent to your Events Page.

- 3 Poison Barbs
- 3 Silver Powder
- 3 Honey
- 3 Tiny Mushrooms
Silver Rank
- 2 Sun Stone
- 2 Metal Coats
- 2 Big Mushrooms
Gold Rank
- Mega Stone and a Ultra Ball rarity Bug Type Pokémon
- Balm Mushroom and a Ultra Ball rarity Bug Type Pokémon

There are many different types of qualifications and how many there are change every contest. All Pokémon that enter have to be adopted within the time it is active.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- It is possible for a Gold Rank Contest to only ask for a Common Rarity Pokémon because Common Rarity Bug Types don't appear on the Adopt Page during Winter.
