Monthly Events are the main type of event on Poliwager Adoptables. Each month has a different kind of Monthly Event; they do not cycle, but are chosen by hand at the beginning of each month. If you complete the event's objective within the end of the month, you can win prizes, including items and prize eggs. The Monthly Event is unrelated to the Community Weekend, though both happen once per month.

Shiny Hunt

During a Shiny Hunt, a certain species of Pokémon has a higher than usual chance of hatching out shiny. This species will have higher egg spawn rates on the Adopt Page as well. If by the end of the month you hatch a new shiny Pokémon of the right species, you can win a prize.

Funfest Missions

During a Funfest event, a Funfest Mission will be posted whenever one isn't currently running. Any user on the site may join at any time during a mission and help to complete the mission. Each mission has different requirements to be completed, such as getting a certain number of interactions, buying a certain number of items, or finding a certain number of berries. Each mission also requires at least 10 users to join to complete it. Once a mission is completed, each user who has joined will receive a Pass Orb and a new mission will be started. Pass Orbs are used to award prizes at the end of the month.

Parcel Event

The Parcel Event requires for a user to buy a parcel, if they hadn't already, and to give it to a Pokémon hatched during the month of the event. In order to receive a prize egg at the end of the month, your Parcel Pokémon needs to be at least Level 15. Completing other criteria will award a bonus prize as well, for a maximum of 5 additional prize eggs, and possibly more bonus prizes.

The additional criteria are as listed:

• Is Lv. 50 or higher.
• Is in the Rare, Legendary, Novelty, or Ultra Beast rarity.
• Has maximum Happiness.
• Has more than 150 Views.
• Is Shiny.
• Has more than 100 total IVs.
• Has Camped 10 or more times.
• Has Battled 5 or more times.
• Has evolved at least once.

Relic Collection

Relic Collection Event has member's randomly assigned to one of three teams. These teams are Relic Gold, Relic Silver, and Relic Bronze. You are assigned a team once you receive your first Relic. You obtain Relics by adopting and interacting with eggs and Pokémon. If you obtain 100 Relics by the end of the month, you will receive a prize. Every additional 100 Relics obtained can potentially award a prize as well. The team with the most relics at the end of the month will receive an additional prize.

Snowball Collection

Snowball Collection Event has member's randomly assigned to one of two teams. These teams are Sparkling Snowballs and Glistening Snowballs. You are assigned a team once you receive your first Snowball. You obtain Snowballs by adopting and interacting with eggs and Pokémon. On your Events Page you can throw snowballs you've collected at the other team. Thrown Snowballs no longer count as being collected so be careful about how many you throw. If you obtain 100 Snowballs by the end of the month, you will receive a prize. The team with the most Snowballs collected and the team with the most Snowballs thrown will receive an additional prize at the end of the month.

Pokédex Completion

During a Pokédex Completion Event you will need to register as many unique Pokémon of a specific generation. Only newly obtained Pokémon will count so if you already obtained the Pokémon prior to the event you will need to obtain them again. You can receive up to three prizes at the end of month depending how many Pokémon you have registered.

Scavenger Hunt

During a Scavenger Hunt, each day will have a new hint added to the Scavenger Hunt page to find a Scavenger Hunt Item. These hints will lead you to a specific section of the site, a specific Pokémon, or a specific thing you have to accomplish. You will receive a prize egg at the end of the month based around how many items you have found.

Chocolate Egg Token Event

During a Chocolate Egg Token Event you can trade your Chocolate Egg Tokens, that you have earned from interacting with eggs, for Mystery Eggs on your Events Page. There are four tiers and each cost a different amount and give a Mystery Egg of a different rarity.

Trivia

• During the Pokédex Completion event, members can volunteer to release Pokémon to help others fill their Pokédex. These Pokémon are usually nicknamed "Release for Event' or something similar to promote others to not keep the Pokémon until the event is over.
