Thunderstorm Emolga is a rare kind of Emolga. It is one of the novelties that can be found on the site.
Physiology[edit | edit source]
Thunderstorm Emolga has slightly longer ears than its regular counterpart. This gives the Emolga slightly better hearing than usual. It also has very good eyesight and perception, which comes handy when gliding quickly through the air. They have black, fluffy wings and black markings under the chin and on the upper part of the chest. On the lower part of the tail is a lighting-designed piece for display purposes. Their fur produces an oil that helps to keep water off of themselves and to make gliding less difficult. The oil is also a conductor for electricity and can produce a lot of static electricity in their fur when not brushed often.
Diet[edit | edit source]
The Thunderstorm Emolga is an herbivore, mainly consuming plant-matter. Thunderstorm Emolgas especially love apples, so if you feed one an apple, don't be surprised if more come up to you. They may get sad and give you puppy eyes if you don't give it another apple after you have done so, therefore it is not recommended you feed Thunderstorm Emolgas. Again, no one won't stop you. If there's pigeon ladies and cat ladies, why shouldn't there be an Emolga lady?
Behavior[edit | edit source]
T. Emolgas make their nests inside of holes in trees, but if they can't find any, they may weave tree branches together and make a nest from there. The nest is made out of straw, leaves, feathers and other soft materials it can find. T. Emolgas typcally nest close to each other since they are very social and affectionate creatures. Nesting close to each other also gives an advantage against any predators since they can help defend their homes and young. If they find an apple, they will try to split it up with their peers or family.
The T. Emolga is also a very playful creature. Trainers will need to give them lots of toys such as bells, stuffed animals, and things that they can climb up on and hide in. Thunderstorm Emolgas love to be pet and require lots of attention to take care of.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Thunderstorm Emolga was one of the first novelties created by Oshi. They were in sprite limbo from 6 months to a year before finally being added to the website.
- They were available May 2022 during a shiny hunt event known as the "Emolgapocalypse"
- The T. Emolga was originally going to be a Mega Emolga and even has an unused Mega Stone that is yet to be seen.
- The Shiny is apparently a Dragon Ball reference
