Autumn Turtwig is a Novelty Designed by Novarius Haze. It was added on November 9, 2022 along with its's evolutions.

Physiology

Autumn Turtwig looks mostly similar to previously discovered Turtwig. One of it's notable differences include being an orangish colour rather than green. It's most intriguing feature is it's deep orange maple leaves on it's head, unmistakably difference shape compared to regular Turtwigs. Their shell is a lot harder and is capable of withstanding hard hits. Their bellies are very soft and have the ability to absorb water from moist soil.

Diet

Autumn Turtwig don't seem to drink much water, seemly able to survive on small quantities. They can hydrate themselves by simply laying in moist dirt and have it absorb through their belly. They seem particularly fond of ripe fruit and fallen berries. Dried foods are their absolute favourite such as dried Nanab and Oran Berries.

Behavior

Autumn Turtwig are know to be slow and sleep for long periods at a time. It's not uncommon you'd find one under a tree. Autumn Turtwig also seem to only be found in Autumn. It is suggested they go into hibernation all year long until the fall months when their favourite food is available. Those that live with humans are shown capable of being awake year around as long as they are regularly fed, but they still behave more lazily outside of the Autumn season.

• Autumn Turtwig was designed as an attempt at making a Fall Novelty to go along with Springtime Sandshrew and Winter Tangela.
  • It's evolutions were only designed as a request to be released with Autumn Turtwig.
  • It's design was inspired by the maple leaf in Canada's flag.
  • The idea behind it's shiny was to have the most attractive combination of colours.

• Autumn Turtwig was was second Pokémon Sprite edited by Novarius. The first being Creechu.
• Autumn Turtwig is the only Novelty to evolve twice.
