* Creechu was first conceptualized on April 7, 2021. The idea was sparked by the concept that many Pokémon, such as Pichu, seem to have white pupils when in actuality it is just a design that represents light reflecting off their eyes. In an experiment, Novarius edited the official artwork of Pichu to show what it would look like without the white marks in the eyes, revealing that it looks more creepy. A response from Jirachi100 motivated Novarius to edit it to be creepier, with small red pupils, grey fur, and pitch black background. The name Creechu was made the day after.
** On July 28, 2021 Creechu was given his signature smiling rows of sharp teeth.
** On August 29, 2021, a glitchy pixel texture was added to Creechu, making him appear more of a dark dull purple with pink, green, and blue glitched pixels.
** On November 8, 2021, a set of Creechu sprites was created including a front sprite, shiny front sprite, and menu sprite.
* Ceechu used to own a dance club but it went under due to the lack of customers.
* Creechu is friends with a Pichu named Pietro.
* Creechu dreams of becoming a [[:Category:Novelty Pokémon|Novelty]] on Poliwager Adoptables someday.
