When I first started playing Poliwager, I felt like making any amount of progress was impossible without having to make clicking my new full-time job. If you're new to Poliwager and feel the same way, don't despair; it'll get really fun soon, and with some of these methods, you can get to your favorite part even faster!

Eggs bred from the Day Care Center have a 50% chance of being the lowest evolved form of either parent. Pokémon that are Genderless or have no Egg Group cannot be bred. When you breed two Pokémon you will have an option to breed an egg for yourself or only the [[Shelter]]. If you bred for yourself, an extra egg will be sent to the Shelter anyways. Multipliers above 2x sends two eggs to the shelter when bred. After you've bred two Pokémon you will have to wait three hours before you can breed again, or an hour and a half if you have the [[Items#Key Items|Oval Charm]]. Your Last Bred Pokémon will appear at the top of your list of Pokémon.

During a Shiny Hunt, a certain species of Pokémon has a higher than usual chance of hatching out shiny. This species will have higher egg spawn rates on the Adopt Page as well. If by the end of the month you hatch a new shiny Pokémon of the right species, you can win a prize.

==Funfest Missions==
During a Funfest event, a Funfest Mission will be posted whenever one isn't currently running. Any user on the site may join at any time during a mission and help to complete the mission. Each mission has different requirements to be completed, such as getting a certain number of interactions, buying a certain number of items, or finding a certain number of berries. Each mission also requires at least 10 users to join to complete it. Once a mission is completed, each user who has joined will receive a Pass Orb and a new mission will be started. Pass Orbs are used to award prizes at the end of the month.

Eggs bred from the Day Care Center have a 50% chance of being the lowest evolved form of either parent. Pokémon that are Genderless or have no Egg Group cannot be bred. When you breed two Pokémon you will have an option to breed an egg for yourself or only the [[Shelter]]. If you bred for yourself, an extra egg will be sent to the Shelter anyways. Multipliers above 2x sends two eggs to the shelter when bred. After you've bred two Pokémon you will have to wait three hours before you can breed again, or an hour and a half if you have the [[Items#Key Items|Oval Charm]]. Your Last Bred Pokémon will appear at the top of your list of Pokémon.

LinneaBorealis: Fixing template

Okay, template with regular text works, but how do I make it into a pretty box like the Wikipedia ones?

Let's try text substitution: Nowiki inside the brackets didn't fix the "spoilers are bad" being in the fugly code though... yayyy doublepipe made it work!

Now to learn how to format the thing more prettily... Got TestTemplate to work! Might make into a wide-box template later. Will save current code offline.

As of writing this, any user may make a template. This is a good thing, as it allows people to make easy-to-use messages and other useful things for the pages they make. However, template categories aren't a thing, so each kind of template has its own color scheme.
